More awesomeness at Bristol barber salon – whisky tasting night
Franco’s Barbering Lounge has built up an enviable reputation in the last few years, but not just for our superb men’s haircuts, male grooming and beard care services on Gloucester Road.
We also provide amazing themed nights and events for our clients, which in the past have included Golf Days, curry nights, World Cup tournaments, and quiz nights.
So, it was fantastic to see a brand new event taking place for our clients recently – a whisky tasting night, held right in our gorgeous barber salon.
The whisky tasting night, held in March, ran from 7pm and was well attended by 25 clients, and with expert advice and guidance on top scotches from Herman of the Compass Box Whisky Company.
The evening was focused on Herman providing expert presentations on six malt whiskies, with educational information given with each tasting, along with explanations on how each fine malt was blended and created.
Hard cheeses were also laid on by Creative Director Franco, sourced from the superb Spanish deli El Colmado on Gloucester Road, as well as sour dough bread, to provide a mouth-watering addition to the marvellous malts.
It was a fantastic evening, and a huge hit with the clients – as well as being the first event held in our new men’s hairdressing salon in central Bristol.
There are plans underway for the next client event, and we’ll be repeating the hugely-successful Quiz Night. It’s going to take place on 20th May, but get in quick to confirm your place. Tickets have sold out rapidly in the past.
