Bristol Barbers only have 20 seconds to get it right!
Barbering training and men’s hairstyling education have always been high on the agenda at Bristol Barber, as any of our regular clients will know.
So, it was a real surprise for Bristol Barber’s very own Franco Lombardi when attending a workshop recently, to discover that Bristol barbers only have 20 seconds to get it right with clients!
The workshop highlighted that the first 20 seconds of a visit are vital for first impressions to be made – covering crucial factors such as barber salon image (inside and out), the website image, appearance and image of staff, as well as how the overall impact builds trust and confidence for the client.
Franco attended a brilliant workshop from Winning Ways founders Chris Amos and Richard Wallace, who are both successful hair salon owners, turned entrepreneurs and educators.
The ’20 Seconds’ workshop was all about focusing on customer care, and how to deliver the best results for clients.
It was interesting to see, from their presentation, that the average client has made up their mind within 20 seconds if they’re going to visit a barber or not. Which means, basically, very little time to get it right!
It was a really useful training session, and well worth the trip from Bristol to Birmingham for an excellent day of education in new knowledge.
