Franco’s Barbering Lounge on Gloucester Road are considered by many to be the best men’s hairdressers in Bristol, so we’re proud to announce the team is growing.
Pictured above on the right is Finley, our new Apprentice, being trained in-salon.
A Bristol lad aged just 17, Finley is being trained and mentored by the entire team of men’s hairdressers at our Bristol salon, including Franco.
Finley is also attending Reflections Training Academy once a fortnight to work towards industry-level NVQ qualifications.
As well as learning the basics of men’s hairdressing from our Bristol team, he is also a salon co-ordinator responsible for many daily elements within the salon, such as managing the shop-floor, re-stocking, meeting and greeting clients, providing fresh towels and gowns, cleaning down each station, cleaning the work areas and mirrors, and much more.

Our whole team of men’s hairdressers in Bristol recently attended a two-day training course in London with the awesome trainers from American Crew.
The cutting course was intense and inspiring, with trainers delivering theory lessons in the mornings, followed by our team replicating their work in the afternoons.
We worked on head blocks, using American Crew products and bespoke cutting tools such as texture razors, to work in hairdressing skills that included sections, layering and high levels of technical detail. We are far more than clipper barbers.
